Had to match ya' Mortis Smile

Tim Sylvia - Can not stand the way he carries himself. He's not out to beat someone up, he's out there to try to 'eek out a decision victory every time. Someone that big should have a strength advantage and USE it instead of relying on nothing but his reach the entire time.

Rashad Evans - Never been a fan of Rashad. He always comes out cocky and arrogant. Even if you are the best fighter in the UFC (which he is not), you should still show a little bit of humbleness.

Josh Koscheck - Once again, a fighter that I have never liked. I loved nothing more than seeing GSP manhandle him.

Honorable Mentions - Diego Sanchez, Lyoto Machida, Matt Hughes, and Melvin Guillard

Hehe.. alright, I'll list mine.

1) Michael Bisping - Overrated. He's boring, and I just don't like him. Never have.

2) Josh Koscheck - Another boring wrestler, and he was a dick on The Ultimate Fighter show. He tackles your leg and then lays on you for the whole match.

3) Karo Parisyan - I use to be a big fan of Karo's. Until The Ultimate Fighter 5, when he showed up there and was acting like a jerk. He dropped off my top favorites list, but I still liked him, because he is a judo guy like me. Then his last fight against Thiago Alves.. he spits in the ring, and looks like towards Thiago's corner after he loses. Then he backs out of the fight he was suppose to have at the last minute. Injury? I don't know.. he has just lost some respect points from me.

Ken Shamrock - Washed up, arrogant, should have stopped fighting a long time ago. Can't even beat an egg. I think he cut himself to keep away from Kimbo knocking him out. His ego couldn't take that.

Matt Serra - I think he is a much better coach than he is a fighter. The humility and the helpfulness and patience he showed as a coach and even when he was "coaching" Shoni Carter in TUF...after Shoni had knocked him out in humiliating style....showed he was an awesome person. But once he got that belt, he became everything I hate about certain fighters.

Keith Jardene - I don't like his style. I don't like the erky-jerky way he fights and his weird boxing. I was impressed by his kicks in his last couple fights. But I just cant stand watching him during a fight.

Admittedly, when I don't like a fighter it has more to do with their attitudes than anything. They are all amazing athletes and fighters to get to the level they have gotten to. I completely respect that. I just can't stomach the arrogance.

I know what you're talking about after Matt got the belt. I think what it was, was that Matt got frustrated that people were calling his win a fluke and nearly everyone was still saying that GSP was better than he was. He let his emotions get the better of him.

ya. It made me go from loving the guy to hating the guy, nearly over night. Admittedly, I was running around callin him the Buster Douglas of MMA. I didn't think that he would live up to the legend he was in his own mind and really he didn't. Not that he doesn't have skill. He does...it's just that arrogance makes me root for the other guy.

I've been a fan of Matt Serra for awhile, and I still am. I didn't like his attitude post-title win, but I don't think he was that bad. A little cocky, but he's from Long Island.. so what do you expect? Very Happy

He's still a very good fighter. And we're the exact same size (5'6" 170 lbs.).. amd I like the good short fighters.

I still want to see a Serra vs. Hughes fight.

Houston Alexander- after beating Keith Jardine he stood above him, posturing and taunting. Way to arrogant. Now, I laugh like a little Japanese school girl every time he gets beat.

Karo- Agree with Mortis.

Manny Gamburian- I cannot stand his smug arrogance when being interviewed and he has a Napoleon complex.

Ya all that crap that Serra talked...for fight not that happen was a HUGE disappointment to me. I think Hughes would woop him though. I know there will be disagreements with that....just my opinion.

lots of not so good fighters... but actual "stars" i despise..

3. Chuck- ok, i talk on him a lot, and as a fighter he's my least favorite popular guy skill wise other than big tim, but he isn't THAT bad sometimes when he talks. so, that makes him number 3. you can read more on my distaste of chuck on my "least favorite fighter" right up under "mike turpin."

2. BJ- my least favorite personality. he got gifted shots he didn't deserve, lost some fights and was still getting called P4P. he is out of shape. he tries saying everyone, now GSP, is on steroids. BUT, he is smart, talented, and kind of witty, so that saved him from my least favorite.

1. Tim Sylia- slow. flabby. boring. excuses. under-skilled. over-hyped. stupid. poops on his opponents. i just hate out of shape fighters and guys who give excuses nonstop. he is that and much much more.

I have to totally disagree with the BJ Penn assesment. That was definately the Penn of years ago, however, since the Hughes fight, Penn has been on a completely different level. He is finally taking fighting seriously. He has come into each and everyone of his fights in excellent shape. No, he does not come to the ring with the ripped out Cheik Kongo muscular look, however, his cardio and endurance has come light years from what it was back in the earlier Penn days. He was kind of a disapointment on the TUF show as a coach, however, he didn't reallly want that gig to begin with. He wanted to fight Pulver and get his re-match win, and then move on to bigger things (the championship), which he did. Now he is training himself and numerous other fighters on a regular basis in Haiwaii and he is getting ready to have (IMO) the best fight of his entire life against GSP. Just look at the fighters that constantly travel to Haiwaii to spend time training with Penn, whether it be for a short stint, or they end up calling that there training home... Joe Lauzon spent a good amount of time training there, Chris Leben now resides in Haiwaii full time, Kendall Grove is a Haiwaii native and is back training there with Penn's team on occasion. The list goes on, but he is a remarkable instructor of the fight game.

well, it is really hard to say for SURE his cardio is in gear. the sherk fight had a slow pace and the stevenson fight ended early. everyone just buys the hype and in-training videos on youtube. dont get me wrong, i think he is taking fighting more seriously. but if you had asked him before his hughes fight he wouldve said he was in the best shape of his life. the guy still is not in the shape he was when he was beating guys like uno and even his loss to pulver. yes, his experience and skill have come far but i dont know if his shape has. also, penn JUST called out GSP saying he roids. what the heck?? i know so many natural guys at my gym that have just as good of a build and some are even bigger. GSP is really lean and only 185 when he walks around max. its not that hard to be shredded there.

i never questioned his skill, but he is cocky and pouring all of you kool aid that must be spiked with cocaine because you guys just keep drinking and drinking. he came back to the UFC after a lay off and was GIFTED a title shot, then he lost, and then he LOST AGAIN, and now all of a sudden he can just lose a little flab, get on the show, beat a washed up guy coming off a loss to a CONTESTANT on the show (jens pulver ala joe lauzon) and now he gets ANOTHER title shot... are you KIDDING??? he beat sherk in a stand up fight and cut joe stevenson badly resulting in him having a lack luster performance. the guy hasnt had a convincing win since the hype has been pouring in.

in his last 7 BJ is 4-3. (that means going into the 3 i went into he was 1-3 of his last 4)
however, the one win is a whopping decision win over top contender renzo gracie Laughing

ok enough rambling. but for real, there is NOTHING to base the claims off of. we just havent seen him tested yet. say what you want about sherk but the fact is, that was a STAND UP fight and sherk is not a stand up fighter. hermes almost did the same thing to him three times in their fight and hermes isnt really a stand up fighter.

Very valid points. I'm not saying I agree with you, or that you have swayed me completely, but I must step back and re-evaluate some of the items I pointed out after those points.

As for the GSP "roids" thing, Penn always talks crap pre-fights to build the hype around his contests. He did the same sort of thing against both Sherk and Pulver, but in the end there is nothing but respect for the other fighter, win or lose. Not much different than the hype that Tito or Frank bring with them to there fights.

word. dont get me wrong, i wouldnt be surprised at all if he turned out to win every fight from here out. i dont think he is the best but i really dont know... i just know he hasnt done anything to prove it. him and his fans just say it. again, funny, smart, talented, and athletic guy. he has everything you need. i just am unsure and think he needs to walk a lot before saying what he has and does continue to say.

I don't doubt that BJ is a great fighter but the subject is "3 least favorite fighters". I just dont' care for the guy and I lost a lot of respect for him when he coached. I didn't like his attitude at all.

Don't forget that BJ is a TRUE lightweight and some of the loses he's had (machida being one) were at a much heavier weight than 155...Dudes ballsy as all hell which is WHY I love him so much. He is good and not afraid to back up his talk. His last 3 losses were to people heavier than him. GSP who is REALLY big for the 170 pound weight class. He is probably the biggest in the division. Matt hughes who is also 170 but not quite as big as GSP...Okay, both those two fights BJ was whooping some ass before he gassed. PLUS he beat hughes back when the name Matt Hughes meant something. Then he lost to Machida...Machida is a freaking light heavyweight fighter and Penn lost a DECISION! That's a 50 pound difference (I know Penn didn't actually weigh 155 for the weight in but think of how out of shape he was). Then there was renzo and rodrigo...BOTH middleweights...C'mon, Penn does not deserve to be on the least favorite fighters list because he creates hype and puts on a good show.

My least favorite fighters

Brock Lesnar-He is the biggest dick in the game who hasn't even shown good wrestling in his mma career. Sure, he held herring down...But he was way the hell bigger than he was and didn't even ride him very well. He didn't work very much when he did have him on the ground and he got damage with ONE lucky punch. He does not deserve the big stage yet but we have to put up with him because he's a cash cow.

Tim Sylvia-He's a douche bag who hasn't had many exciting fights.

Frank Shammrock-I really did try to like him...but he's just not really that good of a fighter to be talking as much crap as he does...There's just something about the names Phil Baroni and Elvis Sinosec that don't impress me as far as a W goes...
