im not even going to begin to guess where in THE HELL they came up with these as top 10 fights... penn vs sherk??!!! is that a fucking joke??? arlovski vs nelson?? stevie wonder could have picked better fights... im not going to go through them all, but there were tons better. id rather watch the past two ufc free events than the ones on that list...

I don't disagree with you. I think the top three and Alvarez/Hansen belong there. The rest, I don't know what some people are thinking.

matt wiman/thiago tavares. nate diaz/kurt pellegrino. chris leben/allesio sakara. josh koscheck/dustin hazelett. kenny florian/joe lauzon. thats just UFC fights up until april that were pretty good compared to the UFC ones on the list.

ill actually have a list after the next UFC.

Leben/Sakara??? You've got to be kidding me. Well one thing I learned at MMA Ratings is that different people value different things in a fight. Personally I thought Leben/Sakara was lacking in skill and relevance, but that's just me.

Anyway, rate your favorite fights at MMA Ratings. You can find the fights in the Event Archive is the sidebar. Either expand the promotion, or enter a fighter into the search field.

See if you can get any of your favorite fights in the top 10.

it was just exciting. since when did relevance play a role? it wasnt my fav, i just browsed a few events. personally machida/ortiz was my favorite but i wouldnt include it on a best list.

that's just me, I think the fight of the year should have some relevance. two nobodys can have a great fight, but can it be figfht of the year? not if there is any great fights among the somebodys.

I also think, given enough quality fights, the fight of the year should be a back and forth affair. That's why I wouldn't vote for Machida/Ortiz. I'm guessing you like that fight because Machida is your favorite fighter, same as me.
