Re: jardine out of ufc 96
Seeing he just had his first fight (win against Wanderlei) after losing the title.. another title shot so soon isn't likely.... I believe the winner of Lyoto Machida vs. Thiago Silva is first in line for a title shot. I think we'll see Rampage vs. Forrest II before we see Rampage with another title shot.. and with Rampage pleading guilty to some his charges and his sentencing being delayed until January 7, 2010 (he could face up to 6 months in jail and probation), they may wait to give him a title shot until after his jail time if he has to do any.

weird, i heard franklin/hendo loser or shogun were chucks likely fights. but jardine made sense. im just soooo glad anderson doesn't have to fight luiz cane like i heard he would his next 205 fight. phew... that scared me. cane seems majorly dangerous.

All the sites were reporting a possible Jardine/Liddell rematch rumor.

Re: jardine out of ufc 96
In my opinion i say forget the Keith Jardine rematch for Chuck Liddell and put him against Brandon Vera because i gurantee that would hit some major pay per view buys and it make sense. Both have lost 3 of their last 4 fights, Chuck Liddell: L-Rampage, L-Jardine, W-Silva, L-Evans. Brandon Vera: L-Silvia, L-Werdum, W-Andy, L-Jardine. I mean i am pretty sure i am not the only one that wants to see that fight because i think for both fighters its time to put up or shut up and we could really see who wants it more in this fight if you put them against diffrent opponents you might not see the best out of them but I think if you put them together you will. And if Keith Jardine doesnt fight Luiz Cane shoot put him against Matt Hamill i think that would be a great fight, but i am not for the whole Liddell vs Jardine rematch I think they would both be to afraid to engage with each other and it would just be a stalemate, because they are both afraid of losing again. Because Keith Jardine isnt totally out of the woods either because he has lost 2 out of his last 4 fights and he has lost 3 fights all together so i mean maybe you guys want to see that but i promise it wont be exciting.

Re: jardine out of ufc 96
I agree.. I would much rather see a Liddell vs. Vera fight..... but I would like to see a Chuck Liddell vs. Houston Alexander match even more. Houston's in the same boat as Chuck and Brandon. Houston still has something to prove going 2-3 since entering the UFC.. but I think Houston may have fallen off UFC's radar. :-/
