Maybe someone on the board can answer this question for me....

On the first season of The Ultimate Fighter.. how the hell did Jason Thacker get on the show? He's not even a fighter, is he? He was the first to be eliminated without even having to fight. He obviously wasn't a fighter.. his first and only fight was at the finale, and got pummeled by Leben.

So, can anyone tell me why they put him on the show?

no, that's old. last time i checked, no pro fights since leben. but hey, look at corey hill-- no fights.

Honestly, I think they put Thacker on because they wanted to show the general public that not just anyone can be a fighter.
