Andrei Arlovski vs Randy Couture

Its just one of those fights, I would pay $$ to see.

It would just be amazing. I wouldn't care who won, just to see them both go into the ring at the same time is amazing.

I would love to see this fight as well! And Big Nog vs. Randy Couture.. which we may see.

I like both Couture (favorite fighter) and Arlovski, but for some reason I don't see this as bieng a very good match-up. I basically see Randy taking Arlovski down, and then grinding out a wrestling decision. I think Randy is too smart of a fighter (at his age now) to stand and trade with someone who has better hands than he does. Look at Gonzaga and Sylvia. Neither time did Randy let either of those guys get outside to be able to pick him apart with strikes. He has just become a very smart fighter with his age.

arlovski is overrated and would get annihilated if he didnt get a flash KO.

randy would take him down no problem... arlovski's sprawl/wrestling are weak. he also doesn't seem to have the "trigger" needed. i mean, big country is a B level fighter... christ, WERDUM, a guy who's stand up is very underdeveloped held his own on the feet with arlovski. if you are primarily a stand up fighter and you are fighting a weaker, smaller guy who is a BJJ black belt and new to striking you shouldn't just squeak a close decision win.

keep in mind, i think a lot of people pose a threat to randy at HW... arlovski just isn't one.
