The Breakdown: Evans vs. Machida

what did you guys think of it?

good write up. i'll say what i think is different. i would say the wrestling is a bit slim. rashad 10-8 for sure. machida may have thrown tito off, but come on, i think rashad has a more definitive wrestling advantage than machida does striking. rashad just out struck two guys who claim to be strikers.

striking: 10-9 machida
JJ: 10-8 machida
wrestling: 10-8 rashad
cardio: i don't see this being an issue for either guy. rashad's conditioning is far better than the days you speak of. even-- neither fighter will gas before the other.

Great write up Mitch. I seriously can't wait for this fight.
I agree with Mike on the gassing. Both have excellent conditioning. These 2 could go easily go 5 full rounds without worry in my opinion.

All I can say is Evans got what he deserved! WTF is up with him blaming his loss on Greg Jackson? Not only is he a jack-ass he's a sore looser too! I watch that fight when ever I need a quick fix of a great KO and my second fav is Hendo's KO he dealt to Bisbing.
